The Web Search screen (titled Web Search Settings in the CMS) lets your agent look up real-time information on the internet, and limits which sites it may use. Found in the agent sidebar under Tools → Web Search.
Web Search Configuration
| |
|---|
| Enable Web Search | Lets the agent search the internet and use what it finds in real time. The other fields are disabled while it is off. |
| Max Web Search Results | The most results retrieved per query (required, at least 1). Default: 3. |
| Search Depth | How thoroughly each query is searched: Fast, Balanced or Deep. Deeper searches return richer results but cost more and take longer, which is most noticeable in voice conversations. |
| Allow User Control | Marked Coming Soon and always disabled. Will let users turn web search on or off during a conversation. |
Domain Whitelist
| |
|---|
| Allowed Domains | The only domains the agent may search, for example qlar.com or wikipedia.org. Enter domains without http:// or https://. Leave the list empty to allow all domains. Up to 20 domains. |
| Add New Domain | Adds an entry to the list. Each entry has a delete button. |
Saving
| |
|---|
| Save | Checks the fields, asks you to confirm, then saves the settings. |
