Activate Documents

Documents are activated from a shared marketplace. Once activated, the plugin includes the document in every search query. You can activate one document at a time or select several and bulk-activate them.

Navigate to Actions → Plugins → Public Documents → Marketplace in the agent sidebar.


Browsing the Marketplace

The marketplace lists all publicly available document collections. Each card shows:

FieldDescription
NameThe document collection name.
DescriptionA summary of the document's content and scope.
CategorySubject area (e.g., HR Policies, Developer Tools).
ProviderThe team or organization that maintains the document.
VersionThe current published version of the document.
TagsKeywords for search and filtering.
Usage countHow many agents have activated this document.

Documents already activated for your agent are excluded from the marketplace listing.


Searching and Filtering

Use the search bar to find documents by name, description, or tag. Results update as you type.

Sort the marketplace by:

Sort optionBehavior
Most usedDocuments activated by the most agents appear first (default).
NameAlphabetical order.
NewestMost recently added documents appear first.

Activating a Single Document

  1. Find the document in the marketplace.
  2. Click Activate.
  3. Optionally fill in the settings described below before confirming.
  4. Click Confirm. The document is added to your active list immediately.

Settings available during activation

Additional ContextExtra instructions the AI receives about this document when deciding how to use it.
Post-Processing PromptInstructions for how the AI should format and present content retrieved from this document.

These settings can be left blank and configured or updated at any time from Configure Document Settings.


Bulk Activating Multiple Documents

To activate several documents at once:

  1. Select the checkbox on each document card you want to activate.
  2. Click Activate Selected in the bulk action bar that appears.
  3. Optionally set a shared Additional Context and Post-Processing Prompt that will apply to all selected documents.
  4. Click Confirm.

All selected documents are activated with the same shared settings. You can update the settings for each document individually after activation from Configure Document Settings.
