Configure Document Settings
Each activated document has individual settings that control how the AI uses and presents content from that document. You can set these during activation or update them at any time.
Navigate to Actions → Plugins → Public Documents → My Documents, find the document, and click Edit.
Additional Context
Additional Context provides the AI with extra instructions about this document. These instructions appear alongside the document's name and description inside the function definition the AI receives, and influence how the AI decides to use the document when answering a question.
Use this field to clarify the document's scope, intended audience, or any conditions under which it should or should not be used.
Examples:
This policy applies to Indonesian employees only. Do not use it for overseas offices.This is the 2025 version. It supersedes all previous versions.Use this for technical support questions only. For billing, refer to the billing FAQ.Applies only to full-time employees, not contractors or interns.
Leave this field blank if the document's name and description are already clear enough for the AI to use it correctly.
Post-Processing Prompt
The Post-Processing Prompt tells the AI how to format and present content retrieved from this specific document. Each search result carries this prompt, and the AI applies it when composing the final answer.
Use this field to enforce formatting standards, citation styles, or structural requirements that are specific to this document's content type.
Examples:
Present this content as a numbered list with a bold header per section.
Always cite the section number and article title when quoting from this document.
If the retrieved content contains a table, preserve the table structure in your response.
Summarize the retrieved content in two to three sentences before listing the details.
If multiple sections are returned, group them under their respective headings.
The Post-Processing Prompt takes priority over the AI's default formatting behavior for content from this document. If left empty, the AI applies its general judgment when presenting the content.
Saving Changes
Click Save after updating the settings. Changes take effect immediately for all subsequent conversations.
