Buying Credits

A one-time top-up is the simplest way to add credits to your balance β€” you choose an amount, pay once, and the credits land in your account. No recurring charge, no commitment. This page walks you through the whole flow, the pricing, and the bonus tiers.

If you instead want credits to arrive automatically every month, see Subscription Plans.

Where to start

Buying credits starts from the My Credit page.

  1. Open My Credit and make sure you are on the Overview tab.
  2. Find the Total Balance card at the top.
  3. Click the Purchase Credits button on that card.
  4. The Calculate your credits modal opens β€” this is the calculator where you decide how much to buy.

How the calculator works

Inside the Calculate your credits modal you enter how much you want to spend, and the calculator instantly shows how many credits you will receive.

The rules are simple:

  • Minimum purchase: USD 5.
  • Rate: 10,000 credits per USD 1.
  • Currency: pay in USD or IDR. When you choose IDR, the app fetches the live USDβ†’IDR exchange rate so the IDR amount always matches the current rate.
  • Discount Coupon: an optional field β€” if you have a coupon code, enter it here before paying.

So at the base rate, USD 1 = 10,000 credits, USD 5 = 50,000 credits, and USD 10 = 100,000 credits.

Bonus credits

The more you buy in a single purchase, the more bonus credits you get on top of the base amount. Bonuses are applied automatically β€” you do not need a coupon for them.

Purchase amountBonusWhat you get
Below USD 30No bonusBase credits only
USD 30 – 100+10% bonusBase credits + 10% extra
Over USD 100+15% bonusBase credits + 15% extra

The modal always breaks this down for you before you pay, showing four numbers:

  • Base Credits β€” amount Γ— 10,000.
  • Bonus Credits β€” the extra from your tier.
  • Total Credits β€” base + bonus, the number that lands in your balance.
  • Total Price β€” what you actually pay (in your chosen currency).

Tip: If you are buying close to a bonus tier, a small bump can pay for itself. Spending USD 30 instead of USD 29 unlocks the +10% bonus, turning 290,000 credits into 330,000.

Worked examples

Worked example β€” USD 50 Base Credits: 50 Γ— 10,000 = 500,000 Bonus (+10%, because it falls in the USD 30–100 tier): 50,000 Total Credits: 550,000

Worked example β€” USD 200 Base Credits: 200 Γ— 10,000 = 2,000,000 Bonus (+15%, because it is over USD 100): 300,000 Total Credits: 2,300,000

Paying

Once the numbers look right, click Proceed with Payment.

Payment is handled by an external payment gateway (either Polar or the legacy DOKU, which supports Credit Card, QRIS, Virtual Account, and e-wallet). You are redirected to the gateway to complete the payment securely. When the payment succeeds, the Total Credits shown in the calculator are added to your balance, and you are returned to Qlar.

Tip: Keep the page open until you are redirected back. If you close the tab mid-payment, check Transactions & Invoices to confirm whether the purchase went through before trying again.

A note on spending limits

If your organization has configured a monthly spending limit, you may see a warning before a purchase that would push you over that limit. This is a safeguard, not a hard block in every case β€” the details and how to adjust it live on Payment Methods & Auto Top-Up.

Next step

A one-time top-up is great for occasional needs and spikes. If your usage is steady, a recurring plan that grants credits every cycle is usually cheaper and more convenient β€” read Subscription Plans.
