Chunks
Open in CMSChunks are the small pieces of text your agent actually searches when it answers. They come from processing your documents, videos and websites, or you can write them yourself. Found in the agent sidebar under Knowledge → Chunks (the page is titled Search Chunks).
Search Chunks
| New Chunk | Opens the Add New Chunk form to write a chunk by hand. |
| Sort By | Sorts results by State, Source or Section, in Ascending or Descending order. |
| Search Chunk Text | Free-text search in the chunk content. Type and press Enter. |
| Advanced Search | Expands the extra filters below. |
| Document Title | Limits results to one document, video or website. |
| Chunk Code | Finds a chunk by its code. |
| Chunk Section | Finds chunks by section. |
| Chunk State | Active or Inactive. |
| Chunk Source | User Entry (written by hand) or Chunking Result (created by processing). |
| Apply / Reset | Runs the search, or clears every filter. |
Result Card
| Title | The chunk title. Click the card to open the chunk. |
| State chip | Active or Inactive. |
| Source chip | User Entry or Chunking Result. |
| Text | The chunk content. |
| Section and tokens | The section and the chunk size in tokens, for example "Section 2 (310 tokens)". |
Add New Chunk
| Document | The document, video or website the chunk belongs to, shown as code and title (required). |
| Chunk Title | The title of the chunk (required). |
| Section | The section label (required). |
| Text | The chunk content the agent will search (required). |
| Save / Cancel | Save creates the chunk. |
Chunk Detail
| Text | The chunk content. Editable while the chunk is inactive, or after clicking the edit (pencil) button on an active chunk. |
| Chunk Title / Section | Editable under the same conditions as Text. |
| Document Title | The source the chunk belongs to (read-only). |
| State | Active or Inactive (read-only). |
| Text Token | The size of the chunk in tokens (read-only). |
| Source | User Entry or Chunking Result (read-only). |
| Edit (pencil) | Shown on an active chunk. Unlocks the fields so you can change them and save. |
| Deactivate / Activate | Takes the chunk out of use, or puts it back, after confirmation. |
| Delete Chunk | Shown on an inactive chunk. Deletes it after confirmation. |
| Save / Cancel | Shown while the fields are editable. |
