Members & Invitations
Members are the people in your organization. This guide covers the whole life cycle: inviting someone, what they do to join, editing their roles, assigning them to a budget group, removing them, and leaving an organization yourself.
Who can manage members? Only Owner and Admin. Builders and Members can view the team but can't invite, edit, or remove people. See Roles & Permissions.
Where members live
Open your organization and go to the Members tab.
Open the Organization page β click your organization β Members tab.
The Members tab has two parts: the members list (people who already joined) and Pending Invitations (people who were invited but haven't joined yet).
Inviting a member
Step 1 β Click "Invite Member"
On the Members tab, click Invite Member. A dialog opens.
Step 2 β Fill in the invitation
| Field | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Yes | The email address of the person you're inviting. Must be a valid email. | |
| Roles | Yes (at least one) | Tick the roles to grant. Options depend on org type (Collective: Owner, Admin, Builder, Member; an Admin can only grant Builder/Member). |
| Agents | No | Optionally pre-assign the person to specific agents so they have access the moment they join. |
Step 3 β Send it
Click Invite. The invitation is emailed to the recipient and now appears under Pending Invitations.
Example: Dina invites
budi@example.com, ticks Builder, and pre-assigns the WhatsApp Reminder agent. Budi will be able to build agents and immediately work on that one when he accepts.
What the invited person does
- The recipient gets an email with an invitation link.
- They click it and choose to Accept or Reject.
- On Accept, they're added to the organization with the roles (and any pre-assigned agents) you chose.
Managing pending invitations
In the Pending Invitations area you can search by email and filter by status: All, Pending, Accepted, Rejected, Revoked, Expired. For each pending invitation you can:
| Action | What it does | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Resend | Sends the invitation email again. | Only available 10 minutes after the last send, to prevent spamming. |
| Revoke | Cancels the invitation so the link no longer works. | Use this if you invited the wrong person. |
Editing an existing member
Click a member in the list to manage them (Owner/Admin only):
| Action | How | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Edit roles | Tick/untick roles, then save. | At least one role is required. The Billing role is not changed here β see Billing & Credits. |
| Assign to a budget group | Pick a budget group for the member. | Caps their monthly credit β see Budget Groups. |
| Remove from budget group | Unassigns the member. | They fall back to the organization default. |
| Remove member | Removes the person from the organization. | They immediately lose all access. |
You can also click Download to export the current (filtered) member list as a CSV β useful for audits or sharing with HR.
Leaving an organization
Any member can leave an organization they no longer need access to:
- Open the organization and click Leave.
- Confirm in the dialog.
You can't leave if: you are the only Owner of the organization, or you currently hold the Billing role. Hand those over first (transfer billing; promote another Owner) and then leave.
Next step
Control how much credit each team can spend: Budget Groups.
