Switch Organization
If you belong to more than one organization, only one is active at a time. The active organization decides which agents you see, who you can invite, and which credit balance is used. This guide shows how to switch.
Why switching matters
Everything in Qlar is scoped to the active organization. For example:
- The My Agents list shows only the active organization's agents.
- A new agent you create belongs to the active organization.
- Credit usage is charged to the active organization.
So before you build or manage something, make sure the right organization is active.
Step 1 β Open the Organization page
Open the Organization pageEach organization you belong to appears as a card showing its name, your role, and its member count. The one currently active is marked with an ACTIVE badge, and its Switch button is disabled.
Step 2 β Click "Switch" on the target organization
On the card of the organization you want to enter, click Switch.
What happens immediately:
- That organization becomes your active organization.
- You are taken to My Agents, now showing that organization's agents.
- The ACTIVE badge moves to the organization you just selected.
Switching does not log you out or change your account. It only changes which workspace you're currently working in.
Checking which organization is active
There are two easy ways to confirm:
| Where | What you see |
|---|---|
| Organization page | The active organization's card shows the ACTIVE badge. |
| My Credit page | The organization selector dropdown shows the active organization's name. |
On the My Credit page, the organization selector also lets you view usage per organization β handy when you manage several.
Worked example
Goal: Dina helps two clients and keeps their work separate.
- She finishes a task in
Sehat Clinic(currently ACTIVE).- She opens the Organization page and clicks Switch on
Acme Marketing Team.- She lands on My Agents, now showing only Acme's agents.
- Any agent she creates now belongs to
Acme Marketing Team, and its credit is used β notSehat Clinic's.
Next step
Now that you can move between organizations, learn who is allowed to do what inside one: Roles & Permissions.
