The AI Models tab of an organization decides which AI models the organization can use and which model powers each platform feature by default. Organizations that are allowed to bring their own AI models also connect their own provider keys here.

Owner/AdminCan view and change everything on this tab.

Predefined models

Platform-managed models. Each card shows the model's alias, a short description, and chips for what it accepts and produces (for example Image in, Document in, Audio out).

SwitchTurns the model on or off for the organization.
Default chipDefault followed by the features this model powers, for example "Default Β· Conversation".
Locked SwitchA model that is the default for a feature cannot be turned off. Change that feature's default first; the tooltip names the features.

Custom models (bring your own key)

Shown only for organizations that are allowed to bring their own AI models. Each card shows the alias, provider, masked API key, endpoint or model name, and capability chips.

Add custom modelOpens the Add custom model dialog.
Model CardClick a card to open its Edit dialog.
SwitchTurns the custom model on or off for the organization.
Empty StateNo custom models yet.

Add / Edit Custom Model Dialog

AliasRequired. The name the model is known by in the CMS. Must be unique and must not clash with a predefined alias. Cannot be changed after creation.
ProviderOpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Inference, or DeepSeek.
Invocation methodChat Completion or Response API. DeepSeek supports Chat Completion only.
Native model nameThe provider's model name, for example gpt-4o-mini. Required unless a deployment name is set.
Deployment nameAzure providers only.
EndpointRequired for Azure providers. Optional for DeepSeek, which defaults to https://api.deepseek.com.
Response API endpointAzure AI Inference only.
API keyRequired when adding. When editing, leave blank to keep the current key.
Short descriptionOptional summary shown to users.
Estimated credit ratioOptional. Leave 0 if unknown.
CapabilitiesSwitches for Input (Image, Audio, Video, Document) and Output (Image, Audio, Video). Set them from the model's own documentation; they cannot be detected automatically.
Document typesShown when Document input is on. At least one of PDF, DOCX, CSV, TXT, XLSX, PPTX is required.
DeleteEdit only. Asks "Delete this model?"; Yes, delete removes it.
Create / SaveCreates or updates the model.

Feature defaults

Choose which model powers each feature. Only models switched on for the organization are offered. Leave a feature unset to inherit the platform default, which is shown as the placeholder. Each change saves immediately.
